I outgrew a lot of the podcasts I liked to listen to. I enjoyed hearing about what was up and coming or trendy when I was in my 20s but that’s not me anymore. I have found some new podcasts for women that I enjoy listening to almost every day. I like a variety so I can choose depending on the mood I am in that day.
Listening to these ladies on their podcasts makes me want to start a podcast! They have so much fun and share their content passionately. I love listening to them and implementing some of the things I learn into my own life. I have developed a morning routine and nightly routine inspired by some of the content in these podcasts. I gravitate towards health and wellness podcasts because ideally, I would like to learn something and know more about what other ladies are doing to stay healthy and live their best life. I want to live my life with brightness and positivity, and I hope these podcasts for women bring some brightness to your day!

When I listen to Podcasts
Years ago my husband would tell me to listen to certain podcast episodes and I just couldn’t find the time. They were funny podcasts from Joe Rogan but they weren’t for me. They weren’t episodes from a podcast for women. I didn’t know when the best time was for me to listen. I find I have to be in a specific mood to listen to a podcast. If I am trying to focus on something (like work), I can’t listen to a podcast because it is just too distracting. I’ll put a low-fi playlist on instead. I took a second to think about when I listen to podcasts and what I’m usually doing. Try listening to podcasts when you’re doing these activities:

Podcasts for Women
Wellness Her Way with Gracie Norton
I recently discovered this podcast and I am obsessed! I have been back on my health and wellness game and I gravitate towards this podcast right now. Gracie talks about different aspects of wellness and has many guests on her podcast. There are themes of personal growth, living a fulfilling life, and overall well-being.
Note to Self
I like to listen to Payton when I need some girl talk but I’m too introverted to call my friends. She has open and honest conversations about many stages of life and I love hearing her unique perspectives on things.
Wellness Mama
On my preconception journey, I binged this podcast. I couldn’t get enough. Katie Wells has hypothyroidism like I do and I have learned so much about my own health through her experience and guest speakers. I am a nurse so naturally I love hearing her speak about holistic health. She covers many topics like sleep, fitness, natural living, motherhood, toxins, and stress.
Not your Typical with Katelynn Nolan
This one is also new to me and I’ve only listened to her first few episodes. I love that she brands herself as “not your typical”. She doesn’t like to promote diet culture but encourages you to live a healthy lifestyle. She’s a certified personal trainer who gives off girl talk vibes and does a lot of Q & A’s.
Financial Feminist
One of my close friends recommended this podcast to me. Tori teaches you how to make money and be financially confident. She gives lots of strategies on how to spend less money and build your wealth. She also speaks to how the financial world primarily consists of white males and will leave you feeling empowered to take control of your financial future.
Science Vs.
You may not know this about me but I am a nerdy girl. I love science and this podcast makes the nerd in me so happy. In this podcast, the myths, fads, and common opinions are explored with a scientific lens to find out what’s what!
Thrive
When I was doing some reading about how to start a blog I found this podcast. I started listening to Bree and I felt instantly like I was part of her community of successful bloggers. I have learned so much about blogging and I got over the fear of putting myself out there. This is a podcast for bloggers and influencers, and Bree has guests that help educate and support her audience.
